Dress Code for Performances

PLEASE NOTE: All performance attire must comply with HCRHS student dress code. Students arriving in inappropriate attire will be asked to return home for a change of clothes. Failure to comply or to arrive in time for performance may result in exclusion from the performance which could impact class grade.

Freshman, Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra

Boys - Boys are encouraged to wear a black tuxedo, with a white pleated shirt, black bow tie, and black shoes. An alternative dress option is a dark colored sport jacket and pants with a white shirt, dark colored tie, and black shoes.

Girls - Girls should wear solid black dress pants (without any other color embellishments) with a modest black shirt and black shoes that they can easily walk in while carrying their instrument. Jewelry or other fashion accessories should not interfere with their ability to play their instrument.

Fiddle Club

All Fiddle Club performers are given a black Fiddle Club polo shirt by Mr. Magalio and are expected to wear that shirt to all performances.

Concert and Intermediate Band, Wind Symphony and Principles of Percussion

Boys - Boys should wear a dark colored sport jacket and pants with a white shirt, dark colored tie and black shoes. If performing with select full orchestra, boys are encouraged to wear a black tuxedo, with a white pleated shirt, black bow tie and black shoes.
