Barrage Performance a Huge Success

With the Mother Nature smiling upon us, delivering a sunny, 60 degree day, Barrage rode into town on Tuesday, January 24th. The afternoon workshops conducted for more than 70 string orchestra students helped them fine tune the pieces they had been practicing with Mr. Magalio since November. In Barrage tee shirts, with their fingers flying and feet tapping, the kids definitely had their "groove on," when they took the stage with Barrage to open the second half of the evening performance to an enthusiastic crowd of over 300 people. Responding to their renditions of Old Joe Clark and Calypso Jam with a standing ovation and repeating it after Barrage's closing number, the audience was clearly sorry to see the night come to an end. Not wanting to disappoint, Barrage posed for pictures and signed autographs for nearly an hour after the show. Special thanks to all the people who came together to make the night possible, especially Mr. Magalio. Thanks also to John Case for capturing the day in pictures.
